Fresh Start for 2011!

2011 is going to be a great year!  I expect it to be. I'm planning on it.  And I am going to make sure it happens. 

This will require action on my part, which is something I didn't put in to play last year.  Last year felt a little like let's wait and see what happens.  Well, nothing happened.  My creativity did not magically return.  My house did not remodel itself, my behind did not get smaller and I did not get happier.  Everything stayed the same, or got larger.  Now in retrospect, I can see how waiting for "it" is not serving me well.  Apparently, I need to go get "it".  I don't know exactly what "it" is, but I will know "it" when I see "it", kind of like when I go shopping. 

I am not pleased with the direction the blog went this year.  Looking at it, I find it a bit whiny and self-indulgent, although all blogs are to some degree, self indulgent.  Anyway!  Time for change.  I don't even like the name of my blog anymore, so I am going to start a new one.  My birthday is January 27, and that seems like as good a time as any to start anew.  I will be taking the rest of the month to design (creativity in action!) the new blog.  So I probably won't be posting again until then.  Have a great month!  Put your new year's resolutions into action and then meet me back here at the end of the month.  Wish me luck!
