I love dolls! Especially ones that have good clothes and accessories! And the style and taste level of these two women would be hard to beat! Barneys New York commissioned Brooklyn artist Andrew Yang to create one-of-a-kind painted dolls of Grace Coddington and Anna Wintour for Fashion's Night Out 2010. They'll be auctioned off on charitybuzz.com, with the proceeds benefiting the New York City AIDS fund. The bidding ends tomorrow. You can bid on Grace here and Anna here. Andrew Yang has created other fashionable dolls, as well. The Kouklitas are a line of 27” fashion rag dolls. The name originates from the Greek word for doll, koukla. Each doll is cut from a pattern, sewn into muslin, and meticulously stuffed and attached by hand. The faces are all hand painted, and the dresses are created using luxurious fabrics and couture sewing methods.
