Spent the weekend celebrating my youngest daughter's birthday! We had gorgeous weather and went to the park to play amid the azaleas and honeysuckle in full bloom.
We are fortunate that just steps from our front door is Norton Art Gallery. The gardens have been going through a major update in the last few years and the results are spectacular. There are hills and trails, beautiful water features, sculpture, riots of pink and white azaleas and honeysuckle groves.
After fulfilling and doubling our exercise goal, we happily discovered we were just in time for the final day of the Maxfield Parrish exhibit inside the museum. We all had our favorites, but the colorful ads from the 1920's made us all smile.
