She's Here!

Zelda finally arrived and we are so happy to have her. She had a long journey from Macau, but has adjusted well to her new surroundings. She has found an apartment and some thrift store furniture and is busy painting and remodeling.

So far, she's been able to make repairs to and reupholster the sofa. The walls have their first coat of white paint, and the floors have been stained black. The bed and armoire have been repainted, but she still needs to find a rug and a bedspread. The shelf running along the ceiling has to be removed, because she keeps hitting her head and the staircase really needs to be built soon.
