Spencer, 41, said in accepting the award for best supporting actress for
her acclaimed performance as a maid in The Help.
We're out of school today in honor of Dr. King, so I'll be back tomorrow with a more thorough post.

Spencer's acceptance speech was really beautiful and perfectly said. I read The Help, but haven't seen the movie yet. On my to-do list, for sure.
I thought that was such a moving moment during the GG. And she looked beautiful, of course.
